Luke

---Luke is a 2yr old deaf mini-aussie. He was purchased as a puppy by a woman who was willing to take
on his disability. She recently began to work longer hours and felt that him living in a crate all day was
unfair to him, so she relinquished him to a shelter in Reno and they contacted our rescue. We drove to
Reno and got him. He is very human oriented and loves people. He is also cat friendly as that has been
his living companion since he was a puppy. His dog social-ability is very low and can cause him trouble
once he sets his eyes on another dog. On a leash he is a perfect gentleman and can be redirected pretty
easy from other dogs. Luke is looking for a home where he can run and be an only dog, or a home where
he can properly learn how to interact with other dogs. He does know a few hand signs.
  He is house-trained and crate-trained.

Dusty

Dusty is once again in need of a home.  He was adopted out several years ago as a Sr...and now at the
age of 12, his owners are moving to Australia and can no longer keep him.  He is a very sweet boy
that enjoys car rides.  Dusty is deaf.

  Kel

Kel is a blue merle Lethal White merle to merle cross.  He has two blue eyes, merle patches on his back
and hindquarters, and is tailed.  He has limited sight in his right eye, full sight in his left, and is deaf.

We are looking for a very special home that can accommodate his handicaps.

He is a very affectionate boy, and plays very well with other dogs.  He is a bit afraid of cats.  He currently
knows the hand signals for down, come, and good boy, and we are endeavoring to teach him the basic
signs for sit, stay, off, etc.  He is a very intelligent dog, and learns quickly, but it will take some time, and
any adopter must be willing to put in the time it takes to finish his training after adoption.  We will be happy
to provide assistance to anyone who adopts him.

He is current on his shots, has been micro-chipped, and is neutered.

We are taking applications for him now.  Read the adoption section, and then fill out the online application,
or call us at 303-289-2195 to begin the application process.

Kel is located in Colorado with Colorado Aussie Rescue

Ginger

Ginger is an absolute sweetheart!  She is approximately 10 months old and weighs 13 pounds.  She
was born deaf but we have had her eyes tested with a vision specialist and she has perfect vision.
We have taught her some sign language and she is very quick to learn and responsive to her signs.
Ginger gets along with all the other dogs she's met and is respectful of cats as well. She adores children
and can be crated or left loose in the house. Ginger walks nicely on a leash and rides calmly in a car.
She really is a wonderful little gal!

Ginger has been spayed and micro-chipped and is up to date on all of her shots.

Those interested in adopted Ginger may fill out this application:

Please contact Chris Tresch at 262-554-2048 with any adoption questions.

Khen

Khen is about 2 years old and was found abandoned near National Forest land. He had been in a
fight with another stray dog.  The kind people that found him had been told by the shelter that he would
be  euthanized.  Since they couldn't let that happen, he was brought to us.

He is sweet and loveable , but a little frightened by the world.  He needs an understanding and
permanent home where he can get the love he needs and deserves!

If you are interested in giving Khen a forever home, please contact tarasbabies or Raven at
  aradiasraven@yahoo.com

  Khen is located in Arizona
