News From Foster Family:

This little guy can hear! Not great but loud noises for sure. He and all of the kids were sound asleep the other night just lying around the floor like rugs! Perfect timing for a loud "YAHOO" from Mom! Even scared myself! Wiley jumped right up! Just to be sure, after I gave out cookies to calm them all down, I tried it again. Low and behold, he responded once more!
It would be very hard to carry on a conversation at the decibel but........ He could hear you!!

His sight seems to be not much of a problem. Yes, limited, but he does fine.
He loves to wrestle with the one and only "Bella Rella" wild woman of the west, as she is affectionately known. At first he played too rough but she learned quickly.

Wiley does have some separation anxiety.  He is ...good with dogs, good with cats, don't know about kids, good with men, good with women, can hear and see a little of each.
He does counter surf currently and will need continued training in that area.

Wylie is neutered and up to date on shots.

My Ideal Companions:

He good with dogs, cats, men and women.  We don't know yet about kids.

My Perfect Home:

Other animal companions to keep him company and a fenced in yard to play in.  Lots of loving human interaction and must be willing to work with his counter surfing.

Rescue History:

Wylie is from the Arizona Humane Society.  Since he is deaf as well as only having vision out of one eye, he was turned over to us in hopes that we can find him the perfect forever home.  Wylie came in as a stray as hit by car.  He still seems to be a little sore, but otherwise in good condition after his bad experience with moving vehicles.
