News From My Foster Family:
Ryker's First Vacation -
I just got back from my first camping
experience, and did I have fun! I took my first long car ride, and that was
really interesting, I was so happy to see all the cars, trucks and RVs pass
us by. I didn’t sleep a wink. My foster family
took their RV up north to cool off for the weekend; this was my first trip
away from home. We stayed in the RV and I have to say I was on my best
behavior, I told my family when I need to go outside to go potty. I met
two other lethals, and we got along just fine. All total
there
were 17 dogs, some wanted to play and others didn’t (I think they were too
old). I ran and jumped
and sniffed to my hearts
content. I made sure every person in camp had an opportunity to give me a
scratch or a pet,
everyone said I was sooo cute, and soooo
friendly. I guess it is all the love I have inside and I just wanted to
share it. I hated to leave be we had to come back to the valley. I sat
right behind my foster Dad, and kept my eyes on the road, I was his
co-pilot.
When he started down the hill from sunset
point twisting and turning I put my paw on his arm to let him know to slow
down. The whole family was in the car.
We celebrated my first birthday this
weekend. I got a very special chewy, it was the best. I am
exhausted; I need to take a nap. I liked my first trip; I hope my forever
family finds me soon so I can travel with them.
