News From Foster Family:

Chico is an awesome companion.  He loves to play with a tennis ball or Kong.  He bounces it and then catches it on the bounce.  Or he likes to be on the sofa, drop the toy, and then find it.  Chico gets along will with other dogs, but has to be introduced slowly.  He is housebroken and enjoys lounging outdoors when the weather is nice.

Chico is current on immunizations, neutered, microchipped and crate trained.  He is not a barker, but does have a high pitched bark and will use it to let you know he wants in with his humans...

My Ideal Companions:

Chico could do well with a doggie companion that is comparable in size or as an only dog.  He has had some very small exposure to cats

My Perfect Home:

Chico would be an ideal companion for an active retiree and loves to travel...especially in the motorhome. He loves to play with his ball when his favorite human is next to him.  He enjoys going for a walk and is very good on a leash.

Chico has started having periodic grand mal seizures.  At this point his seizures have been 3-4 months apart and at night while he was sleeping.  Because his seizures are more than a month apart and last less than a few minutes, he is not required to take medication.  This may change in the future.   He currently wears a bell on his collar so that his foster family can be alerted to any seizure activity.  His forever home would need to be willing to accommodate his changing needs.
